Economic Development for Today's Generation and our Future Generations 

The purpose for which the Corporation is formed is to advance the economic development and prosperity of Southwest Oklahoma, by promoting and encouraging trade and commerce. To this end, the Corporation shall:

    (a)  Take action to preserve a favorable climate for existing industrial, commercial, affordable housing and professional businesses and encourage economic development in the Southwest Oklahoma.

    (b) Provide a business entity to facilitate and promote the business community,affordable housing and the economic wellbeing of the citizens of the Southwest Oklahoma.

    (c) Provide information to the public and the business community regarding the Corporation and its activities.     

    (d) Protect, promote and facilitate economic growth and employment opportunity in the Southwest   Oklahoma.     

    (e) Protect, promote and facilitate economic growth, affordable housing and employment opportunity in the Southwest Oklahoma.      

    (f)  Promote and facilitate small business and the public in Southwest Oklahoma access to capital resources with affordable funds for expansion of small business and housing.  

    (g)  Maintain close liaison with government agencies and representatives at municipal, county, State and federal levels to achieve the goals of the Corporation.   

    (h) Work closely with other business entities, associations as well as nonprofit entities and community groups to achieve the goals of the Corporation
